Our Reason for Being:
We are dedicated to increasing the habitat and food supply of many birds, and bringing together people from all over the country who enjoy bird feeding and the joys and benefits it brings. The Bird Feeders Society has been quietly helping wild birds and sharing information among its doners and friends for over twenty nine years.
Who we are:
We are made up of a group of individuals with a common interest in backyard bird feeding. We share this common interest through monthly publications - Around The Bird Feeder and our ongoing Web Journal. Although we do publish other publications and pamphlets on bird feeding and the backyard habitat.
What we do:
Through our nationwide eNewsletters and Educational publications and programs we share common interest in bird feeding and discuss common problems. We attempt to interest other in the fun of bird feeding and educate them in all aspects of this enjoyable and helpful hobby.
When funds permit we support research on bird feeding and habitat improvement. We develop and make educational materials available to libraries, schools, garden clubs, civic organizations and interested individuals.
